Existing buildings get a site visit and measurements.
New work can often start from your drawings.
Photos help us come prepared.

Scope and fee in writing

You'll know exactly what is being delivered before any work starts.

Deliverables listed item by item.
Fixed fee wherever the scope can be defined.
A schedule, so you can plan the build around it.

None of this is required — send what you have and we'll ask for the rest.

Photos of the area in question, wide enough to show the walls either side. Any drawings you already hold, even old or partial ones. What the building department has asked for, if anything. Your timeline — when you'd like to be on site. Who else is involved: architect, builder, expediter.

Before you send

Is the first conversation free?

Yes. Describing the project and getting our view on what it needs costs nothing. Fees apply once there's a scope of engineering work to do.

How quickly will I hear back?

We reply to every enquiry, usually within a business day. If your project is time-critical — a stalled permit, a crew waiting — say so and we'll prioritise it.

What if I don't know what I need yet?

That's the normal case. Describe the situation in plain words: what you want to change, and what's worrying you. Working out what it requires is our job, not yours.

Can you look at something urgently?

For safety concerns — a sagging floor, a new crack, damage after an impact or storm — flag it in your message and we'll respond as a priority.
